People on the Move - Filming

We've finished our filming for The People On The Move project finally. After 3 cold grassy days.
A lot of standing around especially in a park busy but we really enjoyed it. Thanks to Alan and Dan! Dave's brothers for being our lovely actors.

People on the Move - Recce

Sophie and I went the graveyard park at the anglican cathedral, it was beautiful but really spooky. I think its the perfect location for our film, We'll just have to watch out for the undead.

Creativity techniques

We looked into different thinking/creativity techniques. we were split into groups and each given a different type of technique to research and present, ours was Eno Cards. I found them really interesting as the user must do exactly what it says on the card. some of the cards were very strange.

Animation

We looked into animation in digital tools, I found this really interesting as I made a puppet show at a level using stop motion in parts and it's something I've always enjoyed watching and making.
I looking forward to seeing what my own will look like. Heres a video of one of my favorites from YouTube.

Collective Intelligence Assignment

We were given an assignment to produce a wiki page to display our research into the book "We Think" by Charles Leadbetter. We really struggled with enthusiasm for this project. The book was boring and so was making the wiki page, hopefully we wont be doing anything of the like again.

Here's our Wiki page - http://contemporarymediaissues.wetpaint.com/page/Charles+Leadbeater+-+We+think

People on the Move Assignment

This assignment is a to create a FILM! This is what I love to do! We have to have a person on the move (obviously) which will last around 1 min 30 seconds. We must follow the 180 degree rule and have interesting shots, I'm really looking forward to beginning this.

Feedback - Storyboard

We were given our feedback for our storyboards, it was mostly positive for the presentation and props however we received a less that brilliant mark in certain parts as the narrative was hard to understand, which is the main part of the project :/ It's definitely something to work on in the future.
