Beyond the Camera - Changes and Submission

So we finally finished our soundscape for Beyond the Camera, But we made a few changes from my last update. When we sat down together as a team and looked at what we'd sourced and created for the project I couldn't help but find it boring. It seemed like such a mundane concept, everybody goes shopping regularly, who really wants to listen to it?

I thought we could use a change but we'd put so much work into our research, it then struck me we could still stay on the Christmas track but just do something a little different.

I put the idea forward that we could base the piece on 'What does Christmas mean to you?'  I quickly visited my Granddad and asked him of his experiences as a child and Sophie did the same with her mum. Once we got the recordings back however only my audio was of usable quality so that was all we could use.

We used some old Christmas videos that I found from the 40's which give it a great vintage feel.
I'm quite happy with how the video turned out, I know it could have been better if we'd had more time but I feel it gets the point across.
